What is an AI Workspace?
An AI workspace is a place where you work with AI alongside the tools and project material needed to complete a task. The conversation, the working environment and the result belong to the same workflow.
In DevShot, you can work with projects, chat, files, a browser, a desktop, an editor and a terminal. Start from a task you want to complete, then inspect the work and try the result.
Workspace, project and session
Your workspace is your working environment. A project organises a particular piece of work, including its files and conversation. A session is a period of running time covered by a workspace pass.
Projects in the same workspace share its running machine. Your Personal Workspace can contain unlimited projects. Starting another project or switching projects inside that workspace does not itself require another pass.
What can you work on?
- Websites and apps: ask for a first version, inspect the source, test it in the browser and describe the next change.
- Browser tasks: give AI a specific task and review the visible steps and outcome.
- Existing projects: return to the files and conversation, then use the editor or terminal to continue.
The best first task is small and concrete: a page, a browser check or one change to a project. State what a successful result should do, and test that behaviour yourself.
How to start in DevShot
- Open your AI Workspace.
- Create or select a project and describe what you want to do.
- Review any consent or access request before continuing.
- Watch the work, inspect the files and test the result.
